Things To Do Huntsville: Fidos After Five
Fidos After Five returns for next 8 Thursdays at Huntsville Botanical Garden
Fidos After Five, one of
Huntsville Botanical Garden's most popular events, returns for the next eight Thursdays in August and September.
WHEN: Each Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m., garden patrons can bring their pooch to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds with leash laws waived. You and your four-legged friends can chase Frisbees or play with other pups.
Families, friends and man's best friend will enjoy the chance to stretch their legs and run off some excess energy. Or you may just pack a picnic, bring a blanket and secure your favorite spot to enjoy the garden in the cool of the evening.
The garden's "coolest" places will give pets and their owners a way to beat the heat as by exploring the many water features throughout the garden. Children will want to bring swimsuits.
Butterflies will still be fluttering, the birds on the birding trails will be singing and the garden will be alive with color and the sounds of laughter, garden officials promise.
COST: Admission is free for members and children 2 and younger. Regular garden admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, military personnel and students, $8 for youths 3 to 18 and $1 for each dog.
