Fireworks After All
Fireworks lovers will be able to enjoy July 4th celebrations after all.
The fireworks ban was eased this week when the Alabama Forestry Commission and the governor approved Wednesday an amendment to the emergency drought declaration that would allow the use of some types of fireworks, banning only rocket-type fireworks.
Tigher restrictions had previously been put into place due to drought conditions, but was reconsidered after rain this week.
