Hampton Cove is conveniently situated close to shopping in downtown Huntsville and the Medical District, as well as, Valley Bend at Jones Farm and Parkway Place Mall. With booming growth in the past few years large stores like Wal-Mart and Lowe's have become part of the landscape, as well as, Publix, and several local businesses and medical facilities. For its' location, this corner of the city has quite a few options for dining out. Carson's Grill, Tortora's, and Buena Vista are favorites for area residents, though it's recommended you arrive early on weekends to avoid long wait times.
Some of the very best golf in all of North Alabama can be found in Hampton Cove at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove. There at 3 courses including 2 Championship courses, The Highlands and The River course. There is also a par 3 Short Course. The facility has a huge clubhouse with pro shop and a restaurant open to the public. There is also an excellent putting and driving practice facility to get you ready for a great day of golf.
Hampton Cove residents are very active. And, with all that this area has to offer it's no wonder. There are three golf courses, an Olympic sized pool, tennis courts, a workout facility, and multiple playgrounds located within the neighborhood. Hampton Cove is a relatively new community inundated with mostly brick, traditional style homes. Home and lot sizes vary on the subdivision. Some subdivisions have homes located on The Highlands Course, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, while others are situated on, or have views of, one of the many lakes within the neighborhood. There are also patio homes and townhomes, most with their own picturesque views of the lakes, mountains, and golf course in the back half of the community on the Eastern Bypass.
